OFFICE OF THE OMBUDSMAN PUBLISHES INAUGURAL EDITION OF QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER

Upon assumption of Office on the 2nd May 2017, the Ombudsman, Mr. Melron Nicol-Wilson, developed a 100-Day Action Plan, to address the most pressing challenges. The Plan was launched on Friday 26th May 2017, at a press conference held at the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists’ (SLAJ) headquarters, at Campbell Street, in Freetown.

The Action Plan, which commenced from the day it was launched and ended on the 2nd September, 2017, encompasses a number of activities, including the publication of a newsletter, which the new Ombudsman committed himself to accomplish within his first 100 days.

To this end, the Ombudsman has published an inaugural edition of the quarterly newsletter ( The Ombudsman), comprising his 100-Days Plan of Action and its accomplishments, as well as, some major activities that were undertaken by the Office, from May to August 2017.

Mr. Melron Nicol-Wilson has described the newsletter as the proof of his stewardship in the Office of the Ombudsman, since he assumed Office.
