In continuation of his sensitization drive, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Sierra Leone Tejan Ahmed Israel Jah, Esq. has paid a courtesy visit to the National Disaster Management Agency at their Office at Aberdeen in Freetown.
Briefing the Team, the Ombudsman stated that the drive is to build working relation and sensitize institutions about his mandate.

Responding the Director General NDMA, Retired Lieutenant General Brima Sesay, thanked the Ombudsman and Team for the visit and knowledge shared with the Management relating to the mandate of the Ombudsman. He stated that he has had a good working relationship with the Ombudsman’s office in his previous employment and noted that the office should continue the good work.

He noted that the task ahead of the Ombudsman is a huge one, but that he should continue to build relationship with the other institution. He noted that staff of his Institution are treated fairly and any decision against a staff would fall within the staff Rules and Regulations. He pledged his Institution’s continued relationship with the Ombudsman’s office.
